About Treetops Hospice

Treetops Hospice provides specialist palliative care to adults with life limiting illnesses such as cancer, multiple sclerosis, motor neurone disease, end stage heart disease and respiratory conditions.
Treetops Hospice offers a fantastic level of care to the local communities in Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire.
How does Treetops Hospice help?
In addition to our Hospice at Home service, we have a Day Care Service which offers respite for carers, and for patients a change of routine, the opportunity to meet others in a similar situation and access to expert medical and nursing support.
Treetops Hospice enables patients to live life to the full by encouraging each person to be involved in decisions relating to their individual care. We add quality of life to each day.
The Hospice also provides Complementary Therapies, Art Therapy, Family Bereavement Support and Carers’ Support.
Treetops Hospice is a registered charity and mainly self-funded. There is no charge for any service.
What we need – A new Care Centre
Over the last four years demand for our services has more than doubled.
We need much more space if we are to offer specialist palliative care, respite and support to the people who need it most.
At the moment:
- We are currently operating at full capacity and are unable to offer any more day care places due to lack of space
- Creative activities have to take place in a corridor area with constant interruptions
- Private conversations are difficult with so many people using each room
- Disabled access is poor
